Many tried to steal the mirror, but none were successful, for it was protected by powerful enchantments. One day, a wicked sorceress named Morgana heard of the mirror and became consumed with jealousy. She knew that if she could possess the mirror, she could use it to further her dark ambitions and rule over the kingdom. Morgana devised a cunning plan to trick Elara into giving her the mirror. She disguised herself as a noblewoman and gained entrance to the palace under false pretenses. When she finally stood before the mirror, its magic revealed her true form to Elara. But the princess was not fooled by Morgana's deception. With a wave of her hand, Elara banished the sorceress from the kingdom forever. And the Princess's Mirror remained safe, its magic protecting the kingdom from all who sought to do it harm. And so, Elara continued to rule over her kingdom with wisdom and grace, with the Princess's Mirror by her side, always ready to reveal the truth to those who dared to deceive her.
